Dennis and I stopped at this particular site for a few minutes, and with the gate open we strolled around the structure housing salt. This is an example of an increasingly common, relatively new type of structure which is “fast to construct and low in cost per square foot,” as one manufacturer puts it.
I could have spent the entire day exploring this place, but we kept looking over our shoulder and down the road for the armada of police cars lights flashing sirens blaring. Thankfully we just had our look and were on our way without incident.
